Electric Empire will shortly be heading over to the UK to support Soul Artist Beverley Knight on her british tour. To coincide Red Disc Records will be releasing Electric Empires CD including three bonus tracks.

Red Disc Records is proud to have signed an agreement with UK Jazzy Pop duo 'Swing Out Sister'. The band recently finished their nineth studio album called 'Beautiful Mess' which evokes a more intimate, jazzy sound. Corinne Drewery’s voice has a more mature timbre, supported by Andy Connell’s unusually restrained, rhythm-heavy backdrop, yet still interwoven with their signature string and vocal arrangements featuring Gina Foster. The latter also collaborated on the writing of three songs, Something Every Day, Butterfly and My State of Mind.Swing Out Sister celebrate the eclectic cultural mix of the UK’s constantly changing music scene, with a sound that owes as much to hip-hop and jazz fusion as sixties pop and soul, with its well crafted arrangements and a hint of electro along the way. Red Disc Records have now released the brand new CD from New Kids On The Block's Danny Wood. 'Coming Home' is an album Danny worked on whilst filming a reality TV show for MTV Network called 'Totally Boyband' in the UK. Written from the heart this is a collection of 16 songs that any fan should have in their collection. 'Coming Home' includes a bonus track for Australia called 'Beautiful Bad Girl'. Red Disc Records have released fourteen times nominated and two times Grammy Award winner, Bob James' new CD, Angels of Shanghai. This unique east meets west musical project features five young musicians from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music playing ancient Chinese instruments on new Bob James compositions. Recorded in Shanghai, these remarkable artists are joined by Bob's longtime friends and colleagues Nathan East, Harvey Mason, Jack Lee and a new friend, Lewis Pragasam. Special appearances by Karen Han on 'Butterfly Lovers' and Bridgett Bryant on the Bob James and Nathan East tune, 'Endless Time'. Red Disc Records will also be releasing 'Urban Flamingo', and Bobs double CD 'The Essential Bob James' later this year.
David Plotel’s RED HAT is now out on Red Disc Records. A CD of his own tunes distilled from a long love affair with the guitar. Dave already has five ambient albums to his name. RED HAT is intensely melodic and is full of jazz and funk and full of rich harmonies and is a fascinating collection of tunes you will want to play again and again.

The first being a compilation of Soul/Hip Hop and dance tracks featuring several major international artists called Souled Out 1. Tracks from Macy Gray, Joss Stone, Faithless and more will be released on the 27th November 2007.
